Last year 2020 not only suffered a global pandemic but was the hottest year to date. According to NASA.gov, overall the Earth's average temperature has risen more than 2 degrees Fahrenheit, with 2020 as the hottest year on record. This increase in temperature is due to an increase in emission of greenhouse gases like CO2 and methane as a result of human activities.
Every little bit of action helps! Things that you don't need any more can be put to good use once again!
Unlike plastics, which are hard to break down and reuse, wood is an ever continuous resource.
It can be broken down, restructured, and still provide a strong foundation for whatever the need is. By recycling your unneeded wood you help lessen the need to cut down trees, and reduce the amount that ends up in landfills.
But what if:
you have already assembled wood & just can't break it down?
you only have scraps or broken pieces
can't afford shipping costs for recycling?
other recycling concerns
Well this is where we come in!
By going to Naturespackaging.org we found that last month, Guero Pallets successfully recycled ~82,000 wood pallets. Cutting our personal CO2 emissions by ~2305.84 tons. In other words, we cut the same amount of emissions as taking ~7868 cars off the roads!
We take scraps & fully assembled pallets of any size. We can break down any wood you give us & turn it into a strong 100% wood pallet. But it doesn't end there! Not only will we pay you for the materials/pallets, we'll even pick up what you have to offer, with no extra cost to you.
It's an all around win! You get paid to help the environment & get rid of unneeded materials!
So please feel free to reach us at (312) 523-5561 or email us at gueropallets1@gmail.com to learn more!
And look out for the next post where we dig even further into how our personal recycling is helping the environment. Because every little bit helps!
